3D Models from NASA

All that pretty stuff that we so desperately need. Even if it's just an idea or some concept art.

3D Models from NASA

Postby Yowen » Sat Mar 08, 2014 1:46 pm

Hey,

There are 3D models for sattelites, shuttles and other nice things on the NASA's website:
http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/3d_resources/models.html
I don't know much about 3D modelling, but I thought it could be useful as a starting point.

It is not copyrighted, and the only restriction is that we can't use the NASA's logo:

What do you think ?

That is the most important part of that suggestion, it's a starting point. Those models would be great to use but, I also would like to stress that we should not copy them just use them as a starting point or basis. It would be great if someone could look at a satellite from Trillek and then immediately be able to recognize it as a satellite from trillek
