Lets get some concept art in here!

All that pretty stuff that we so desperately need. Even if it's just an idea or some concept art.

Here's a concept video I made based on 0x10c back in November. In total, it was only about 15 hours of work.

It's not much, but I'm not really a modeler so it's pretty good for me...

Edit: This is a sort of ray-gun idea I had with a friend. I would've liked to do the end better, but something *cough nephew cough* kept bothering me so I had to finish it fast.
Edit: This gif doesn't do it justice because I've never made a gif like this before. If you want to REALLY see the model, you can download the .blend here.

zangent: is the low resolution of that model because you were pressed for time, or is it a deliberate design decision?

Low poly count? If that, then yes it was design. The pressed for time part was just the quality.

Yeah, the low poly count is what I was referring to.

Gotta say, I'm a fan of Snow's style. I'd be curious to see how the style would carry over to environments, however, because I really think it's the environments that will make and break art styles. I mean, we can talk about guns all day, but primarily, what the player is going to be seeing is walls, floors, windows and such.

I too would like to see more art like this: http://0x10c.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/akByX.jpeg . It doesn't necessarily have to be in an engine, or all in one image. Being able to see how walls, consoles, ship exteriors and weapons look up close and far away is going to give us a much clearer view of what any particular art style actually means.
