The Meeting: Unto the future

All that pretty stuff that we so desperately need. Even if it's just an idea or some concept art.

The Meeting: Unto the future

Postby DarkSpartan » Wed Aug 21, 2013 10:46 pm

As of now, I will be assuming control of the Art and Sound groups, pending the appointment of Team Leads. If you have concerns/questions about/for this week's meeting, post them here.

In the meantime, I need a portfolio link from each member, and a blurb on your preferred software, field, and experience not only in that field, but making games overall.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Here are a few examples of recent stuff:

I mostly use Flash and Photoshop.
I can make concept art, texture maps, you know - that kind of thing. I have a little experience doing 3D modeling, but I'm not very good.

I've made a few games in the past. I have a good amount of experience in design, and some in programming, but not in any of the languages we're using.

I use pencil, photoshop, solidworks, autodesk inventor, and blender/maya for mediums.

Certified in past three renditions of Adobe Photoshop; I've led design and art teams in the past, 47 folks under me at the very most(as a project lead).

I've taken part in 9 design proposals, and been in charge of two of them. Additionally, I've headed departments in four.

Applying for art directorship! We'll have lots of fun!

I use photoshop, sketch-up pro and blender.
I like to make some textures and maybe simple 3d-models (blasters or some other stuff shouldnt be difficult). You just have to say if you want me to do anything.
In the past i just made some graphic stuff for a few school-newsletters and graphics for a pink floyd coverband.

I am a freelance graphic artist.

In my free time I mostly draw cartoon things, but I'm working into more serious stuff.

I'm fluent in Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash.
I am familiar with Maya, and have started looking into Blender.

I have supplied 2D artwork for facebook games, but haven't really worked in a team/group for 3D yet.

So I'm mainly joining for portfolio and knowledge at this point.

A couple work examples. Nothing Fancy!

Hi, here's my introduction with things I did recently for Reddit, with pictures!
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=63
"I have done various graphic design, 3d modeling, (blender, 3ds max, lightwave, maya...), sculpting, drafting, digital painting, animation, web design/development (drupal, php, javascript...) work for the last 10 years."
