DCPU Concept Art

All that pretty stuff that we so desperately need. Even if it's just an idea or some concept art.

Looks very nice an clean. The modular approach match a lot the idea of allow customize the computer by adding/removing devices. And the handles make a lot of sense for something that will be working in a space ship.

We need to see the model in game. We can tweak the scale of the model if is too small.

That is absolutely beautiful! The game will probably zoom in on the screen when you're using the computer, so probably isn't too small.

I like how rugged the design looks. It looks (as I believe it should) like a utilitarian piece of hardware, almost like it is some sort of military computer. You can tell that this machine was designed to take one hell of a beating and keep on going. I believe that it ties in perfectly with the idea that the game is all about you and your ship. Your ship is going to be what carries you through the game. It is going to get damaged, and you'll be up shit creek without a paddle if your computer can't take the punishment.
Why are they called urinal cakes if you're not supposed to eat them?

I think the 80' style works great, and the design of them is awesome. Looking forward to a keyboard design.

I also love the idea of having modules, connected to each other that way.

I keep saying that - but it looks awesome. I really like your style :)

Very robust, almost medical like cabinets, perfect for space travel.

It's so easy to imagine this computer in the game.. And by extension, this style of ship, player, hand tools, whatever! (no pressure though niksu)
Something about the rugged edges with soft shadows is very visually appealing.

It would make sense building whole set for one ship, so style would be consistent across the board when you are wondering around inside your ship.

What if there are different cultures within the game? Would that mean different styles of ship and computer or a mix of styles within one spaceship? A lot of ships might be made up of spare or swapped-out parts, which could explain a mix of styles in one ship.
